How we work

One call. A clear plan. Then it gets done, properly.

From the first call to finished work: what happens, when it happens, what you get at each point, and what we'll ask of you.

You'll always know what happens next.

Four stages. You can stop after any of them, and you'll still leave with something useful.

  1. Day 1 · No cost

    Stage 1: The call

Thirty minutes on how the business runs and what is slowing you down. We ask a lot of questions.

You getAn honest first read and a clear next step. Simple questions get answered right there.

From you: A rough idea of your tools and what bothers you most.

  2. Week 1

    Stage 2: The deep-dive

For bigger questions: with your permission, we look at workflows, tools, data and costs. Nothing gets built yet.

You getA clear picture of where time and money are leaking.

From you: Read-only access, and an hour with whoever runs the process.

  3. Week 2

    Stage 3: The plan

A written, prioritized plan. You decide what happens next, if anything.

You getThe plan in writing, with an estimate for each next step. It is yours to keep.

From you: One decision: go, adjust, or stop here.

  4. Then

    Stage 4: The work

Set up, built, or handed to the right people. One point of contact the whole way.

You getSomething that works, with one team accountable for it.

From you: Answers to the decisions we flag, usually within a day.

Timing depends on scope. Simple questions often end at the call.

The difference

A typical software agency, and us.

Agencies aren't the enemy. We've worked inside them for years. But they're built to sell builds, and that shapes every conversation.

Who does the work

The right builder for each job. One team accountable.

We pick who does the work, from our own team to vetted developers or an agency, based on what you need and how you like to work. You never have to manage the handoffs.

  • Setups and smaller builds

    Us, with AI tools

Fast, careful work on tools, automations and small internal apps.

  • Custom builds

    Partner developers

Experienced developers we trust, chosen for the job and managed by us.

  • Larger projects

    An agency

We find and vet the right one, write the spec, and lead the project on your side.

  • Long-term capability

    Your own team

We help you hire well and set your team up to keep things running.

Before you sign anything

Red flags we catch in software proposals.

After years on the agency side, we know where projects go wrong before they start. These are the ones we look for first.

  • An hourly quote with no cap

Without an estimate or a ceiling, every delay is billed to you.

  • "We'll figure out the details as we go"

Unclear scope is where budgets quietly double.

  • You don't own your code or accounts

If the relationship ends, your product shouldn’t leave with them.

  • One developer, no one checking their work

A single point of failure, with nobody reviewing quality.

  • No test version before going live

Changes land straight on your customers. Mistakes become outages.

  • Timelines that only ever move one way

A pattern of slipping dates without a written reason is a warning.

Questions owners ask

Questions about how we work, answered.

Outsynk charges by the hour, because every business and every solution is different, and you should pay only for the time the work actually takes. A job that needs one day is billed as one day. You get a written estimate before work starts, and if the work is heading past it, you are told before the extra hours are billed.
